<AESTHETIC> (Hangul: 에스테틱) is the debut mini album by tripleS' second sub-unit, +(KR)ystal Eyes. It was released on May 4, 2023 with “Cherry Talk” serving as the lead single.
The music video for “Cherry Talk” was initially scheduled to release on May 4, 2023 at 00:00 KST with the digital album set to release at 18:00 KST the same day, however the MV ended up being delayed until 18:00 KST, then further delayed with no set time for its release. It was finally officially released the following day, May 5, at 21:00 KST.
Album Background[]
Pre-orders for 'AESTHETIC' released on April 20th 2023 on the tripleS twitter account.[1] The album was available to order from Yes24, Hottracks & Aladin. Version A and Version B contained a 68p booklet, 1 random special class objekt, 1 folding poster, 1 random folding card & 1 sticker each. Yes24 & Hottracks' pricing was set at 23,000 Won whilst Aladin's was set at around 22,300.

"'AESTHETIC' contains a total of 6 songs, including the title track "Cherry Talk". In addition, the colorful bead accessories decorating the mobile phones on the grass and the nostalgic game consoles featured are included in the track list image to stimulate Y2K feelings.
+(KR)ystal Eyes reinterpreted Y2K's sensibility with the music taste of 2023, Now that Y2K is in vogue. What would it look like if the girls of that time leaped to this world and were active? It is an album created through imagination [2]
'AESTHETIC' opens with the sensuous first track, "Cherry 100%", an intro that leads into the title track, "Cherry Talk". Cherry Talk is +(KR)ystal Eyes' colorful interpretation of how we communicate nowadays, where DMs and Instagram stories are more important & more used than phone calls or conversations.
"Touch" is both nostalgic and fresh, reimagining the late 90s girl group sound. "(숨겨 봐봐) Hide & Seek" is said to be a song with a theme of a 'special confession' by girls who can't express their love and hide it tightly.
The song, "Deja-Vu", written, composed and arranged by tripleS' fourteenth member, Park SoHyun is also not to be missed. It is a spin-off track of tripleS' first full group release "Rising", capturing the adventures of the girls and building onto the tripleS' worldview and lore.
The final song in the album is +(KR)ystal Eyes' version of the group's theme song, "Dimension", which was first released by tripleS' first sub-unit, Acid Angel from Asia."[3]
"'에스테틱'에는 타이틀곡 '체리 톡(Cherry Talk)'를 비롯해 총 6곡이 담긴다. 아울러 푸른 잔디 위 휴대폰을 장식하고 있는 형형색색의 비즈 아이템과 추억의 게임기까지 트랙리스트 이미지에 담겨 Y2K 감성을 자극했다.
'에스테틱'은 감각적인 첫 트랙 '체리 100%(Cherry 100%)'으로 포문, 타이틀곡 '체리 톡'으로 이어진다. '체리 톡'은 전화나 대화보다는 디엠(DM)과 인스타그램 스토리가 더 중요해진 요즘의 대화법을 이들만의 색깔로 풀어낸 곡이다.
이어 '터치(Touch)'는 90년대 후반의 걸그룹 사운드를 새롭게 탄생시켜 향수와 신선함을 동시에 안길 전망이다. '(숨겨 봐봐) 하이드 앤드 식(Hide&Seek)'은 사랑을 표현하지 못하고 꼭꼭 숨기는 소녀들도 여기에 있다는 특별한 고백을 품었단 귀띔.
트리플에스의 S14 박소현이 참여한 수록곡 '데자 뷰(Deja vu)'도 빼놓을 수 없다. 특히 트리플에스 10인조 디멘션의 타이틀곡 '라이징(Rising)'의 스핀오프 트랙으로, 특별한 소녀들의 모험을 담아냈다.
마지막 곡은 트리플에스의 첫 디멘션인 애시드 앤젤 프롬 아시아(Acid Angel from Asia)가 공개했던 테마송 '디멘션(Dimension)'이 크리스탈 아이즈 버전으로 편곡돼 수록됐다."Track list[]
