<ASSEMBLE25> is a story of all 'small s' who didn't know about one another until they awakened their super abilities and joined together to become 'big S' and the group, tripleS. The group gathers its full strength once a year under the name of <ASSEMBLE>, a mega-project unprecedented in K-Pop history. Following <ASSEMBLE>, which gave birth to “Rising”, and <ASSEMBLE24> which created tripleS' main theme song, “Girls Never Die”, the group has completed it's second full album, <ASSEMBLE25>. The title track, “Wake Up (Are You Alive)” is tripleS' theme song to the youth who are living an unstable life between hope and despair. "Is life full of hope? Or is despair only growing because of useless hope?" The music of tripleS, a 24-member group that sang through “Girls Never Die” that if you hold on to life with all your might, life will one day have meaning, always captures the stories of young people living in this era with more depth and passion. They sing that the world is not so bright, but let's wake up together in the darkness. In keeping with the worldview of the fan-favorite “Girls Never Die” music video, the girls find meaning in their wanderings by connecting with each other and working together.
서로가 서로를 알지 못하고 살아가던 작은 s들이 자신의 능력을 각성하고 함께 모여 힘을 합쳐 큰 S가 되어 tripleS가 되는 이야기. 실제로 tripleS는 서로의 존재를 알지 못한 채 개인 연습생 생활을 했고 그렇게 한 명 한 명이 자신의 잠재력을 발견한 S가 되면서 비로소 서로를 만나고 힘을 합치는 과정을 완성했다. K-POP 역사상 전무후무한 초대형 프로젝트는 <ASSEMBLE>이라는 이름으로 1년에 한 번 전체 힘을 모은다. 'Rising'을 탄생시켰던 <ASSEMBLE>, 'Girls Never Die'라는 tripleS만의 주제가를 만들었던 <ASSEMBLE24>에 이어 정규앨범 <ASSEMBLE25>가 완성되었다. 타이틀 곡 '깨어'는 희망과 절망 그 사이에서 불안한 삶을 살아가고 있는 청춘에게 보내는 tripleS만 의 주제 의식이 담긴 음악이다. "삶은 희망으로 가득 차 있는 걸까? 아니면 쓸데없는 희망 때문에 절망만 더 커져가는 것일까?” 'Girls Never Die'를 통해 죽을힘을 다해 버티다 보면 언젠가 삶도 의미를 갖게 될 것이라고 노래했던 tripleS의 24인 완전체 음악은 언제나 더 깊이, 더 뜨겁게 이 시대를 살고 있는 젊은이들의 이야기를 선명하게 담아낸다. 세상이 그렇게 밝은 것만은 아니지만 그 어둠 속에서 함께 깨어나자고 노래한다. 팬들에게 많은 사랑을 받았던 'Girls Never Die' 뮤직비디오의 세계관과 고스란히 이어지며 소녀들은 방황 속에서 서로가 연대하고 힘을 합쳐 삶의 의미를 찾는다.
