Acid Angel from Asia (Hangul: 애시드엔젤프롬에이시아) was the first tripleS sub-unit, formed through the first Gravity. They officially debuted on October 28th 2022 with the mini album, ACCESS.
History[]
2022: Formation & Debut with ACCESS[]
On September 16, MODHAUS announced tripleS' First Gravity, titled Grand Gravity. For the first gravity, two DIMENSIONs were created. DIMENSION A was announced as Acid Angel from Asia, while DIMENSION B announced to be +(KR)ystal Eyes. The members for both teams were decided by fan-voting through the Cosmo app via COMO used through collecting objekts. NaKyoung was revealed as the first member on September 22, HyeRin on the 23rd, YuBin on the 24th and YooYeon on the 25th. It was also announced that Acid Angel from Asia would be making their debut first in October.
Once the members were officially announced, AAA began preparing for their debut. Their MV filming took place on October 7 as seen on SIGNAL #120, and their first set of concept photos were released the following week starting with YooYeon on October 10, followed by HyeRin on October 11, YuBin on October 12 and NaKyoung on October 13. The group photo was released on October 14.
The second set of concept photos released starting with NaKyoung on October 15, followed by YuBin on October 16, HyeRin on the 17th and YooYeon on the 18th. The ACCESS track list was released on October 19, followed by the album pre-sale and scheduler on October 20. The final group photo was released on October 21.
The MV teasers for Generation were simultaneously uploaded on October 22, with the highlight melody following on October 23. For the remaining days 'Behind the Scenes' photos of the members were uploaded at 9pm KST.
Acid Angel from Asia officially made their debut with Generation on October 28. The album went up on streaming services at 6pm KST and the physical was released a week later on November 7.
On November 21, 2022, Acid Angel from Asia was officially 'dissolved', yet they continued promotional activities into early December with fansign events.
On February 13, 2023, Acid Angel from Asia performed Generation and Rolex at tripleS ASSEMBLE Pre-Con.
Concept[]

Acid Angel from Asia's concept seems to be based on and representing the current youth of Asia, with a particular focus on South Korean youth culture and Generation Z. The music and music videos depict life of teenagers, wanting to break free and bunk off from school, hanging out and using social media and the overall rebellious concept of kids hanging out at night and in places where they shouldn't be while being pursued by or judged by adults/older generations.
Styling and clothes play an important part in AAA's concept, representing a cool, chic and refreshing Generation Z look. As of right now, there is no concrete evidence that there is a bigger picture to the lore of tripleS or the unit, however fans have speculated that the unit may be 'Fallen Angels', theorised by their name, the religious easter eggs, themes and the dark angel wings at the end of the Generation music video.
Each member's individual concept shoot photo had different colored logos; YooYeon's, HyeRin's and YuBin's colors created NaKyoung's logo color. However this is unknown if there is a deeper meaner to this or pertaining to future lore within the group or future roles members will have in units.

- In 2019, Jaden Jeong uploaded a photo on Instagram of a song teaser for 'acidangelfromasia(ver2)'. It is currently unknown whether this was intentionally made for tripleS or for another artist.
