<Cherry Gene> (Hangul: 체리 제네) is the first single album by the collaborative sub-unit, ACID EYES. The lead single, Cherry Gene 'Baddest Mix', was released on June 6th along with the visualizer whilst the rest of the album was released digitally a month later on July 6th.
Originally the album was scheduled to have a physical album release in July, however MODHAUS announced on July 19th that due to fan fatigue from frequent album releases, they had canceled the standard physical sale of the album. The Cherry Gene album was produced as a commemorative album and distributed to WAVs free of charge during KRE fan-sign events.[1]

The Cherry Gene album is a collaborative remix album of Acid Angel from Asia's Generation and +(KR)ystal Eyes' Cherry Talk. On June 2, 2023, it was stated that Cherry Gene and ACID EYES is a mashup project. [2]
