The Cookie HAUS (also known as the Gingerbread HAUS[1]) is the tenth revealed HAUS. It was revealed simultaneously alongside the MODU HAUS and the MOD Forest HAUS, and currently houses members Kim ChaeYeon, Gong YuBin, Kaede, Kwak YeonJi, Nien, Mayu and Kim ChaeWon.
It is located in Seoul, South Korea.
Name Meaning[]
The Cookie HAUS was previously named HAUS C up until SIGNAL #319, where the then current residents (consisting of everyone but Mayu & Lynn), decided on the name "Cookie HAUS", for its fairytale name. Each member then assigned themselves a cookie nickname, with SoHyun being the caramel cookie, Yeonji the choco cookie, YooYeon the raspberry cookie, Kaede the s'mores cookie and Nien the corn snack cookie.
Mayu and Lynn were assigned strawberry cookie and chocolate chip cookie when they moved in. The cookie names of the new residents ChaeYeon, YuBin and ChaeWon is unknown.
History[]
The Cookie HAUS was first revealed in SIGNAL #308 alongside the MOD Forest HAUS and MODU HAUS. In SIGNAL WEEKLY #55, the three rooms were given their nicknames by the members. The 2-person yellow room was named the YooYeonJi Room, the single green room was named Garden (or Park Garden) after SoHyun, and the 4-person pink room was given the name Ultimate Foreignerz Room since all of its residents were members of the Foreign Line.
On January 16, 2024, Lynn moved into the Cookie HAUS and joined the Ultimate Foreignerz Room.
After completing promotions for the OT24 debut, the members were granted the freedom to live outside of the HAUSES if they desired, two of them being YooYeon and SoHyun.
On an episode of a show, Omniscient Interfering View, it was revealed that the resident arrangement has been changed, with ChaeYeon, YuBin and ChaeWon replacing YooYeon, SoHyun and Lynn. YuBin occupied the Single Green Room (now Pink), ChaeYeon joined YeonJi in the 2-Person Yellow Room, while ChaeWon replaced Lynn in the 4-Person Pink Room.[2] The current names of the rooms after the new arrangement is currently unknown.
