Kaede (Hangul: 카에데, Kanji: 楓) is a Japanese idol under MODHAUS and the ninth revealed member of tripleS. She was revealed as S9 on November 9, 2022.
Kaede made her debut on February 13, 2023, with tripleS' first mini album, ASSEMBLE, and the title track “Rising”. She made her official sub-unit debut on August 17, 2023, in tripleS' third sub-unit, LOVElution, with their mini album, MUHAN, and the title, “Girls' Capitalism”.
She is a member of the sub-units, LOVElution, Aria and Visionary Vision.

Early life[]
Kaede was born as Yamada Kaede (山田 楓) on December 20, 2005 in Toyama, Japan. At thirteen, she entered the entertainment industry and became an exclusive model for the Japanese magazine, Nico☆Petit in 2018. After leaving Nico☆Petit, she became a model for the Japanese fashion brands, Lindiha and LIZLISA in 2020.
In late October of 2022, Fancy Academy, a Japanese K-pop trainee academy, revealed two of their students had passed MODHAUS' auditions and had flown to South Korea in summer earlier that year.[1] It was later revealed that Kaede was one of the the two passers.
2022: Reveal[]
On November 7, S9's teaser drop image was released. Kaede was officially revealed as the ninth member of tripleS on November 9. Her "Welcome to the HAUS" teaser was released and she moved into the HAUS.
2023: Debut, LOVElution, U.S.A Tour & Aria Preparations[]
On February 13, Kaede made her official debut with tripleS' full group release, ASSEMBLE and the title track, "Rising". She participated in tripleS’ first pre-concert of the same name held on the same day.
On April 24, Kaede was determined as the third member of LOVElution through the Fourth Gravity vote. She made her official sub-unit debut with LOVElution and the title track, "Girls' Capitalism" on August 17. Kaede, Along with the rest of LOVElution, held their first overseas tour in the U.S.A from September 24 to October 14.
On November 24, Kaede was determined as a member of the tripleS ballad unit, Aria.
2024: Aria, ASSEMBLE24 & Visionary Vision[]
On January 2, Kaede's teaser for Aria's debut single album, Structure of Sadness, was released.
On June 16, Kaede was determined as a member of the sub-unit, Visionary Vision, through the Visionary Vision Grand Gravity.
