NXT (Hangul: 넥스트) is tripleS' fifth sub-unit. The unit was created with the purpose of revealing members Lynn, JooBin, Jeong HaYeon and Park ShiOn. They debuted with the digital single, “Just Do It”, on December 23, 2023.
Despite “Just Do It” being considered the unit's debut song, the members themselves do not officially consider it their debut, as “Girls Never Die” was the members' first full-fledged promotional period as idols.

2023: Reveal & “Just Do It”[]
On December 11, the first group photo teaser for NXT was released with a date set for December 21. Three days later on December 14, a video teaser for the sub-unit, titled "tripleS NXT (?)" was released with a scheduler following four days later on December 18. Lynn was revealed as S17 on December 21. S18 was revealed as JooBin on December 22, followed by Jeong HaYeon as S19 on December 23 and finally Park ShiOn as S20 on December 24. Their video teasers were released from December 26 to December 29. Unlike the previous 16 members, the NXT members did not have a teaser drop photo and were revealed through their photo drops first instead of their video drops.
Their debut digital single, "Just Do It" was released on December 23 at 18:00 KST before HaYeon and ShiOn's official reveals, though an article promoting the unit revealed their names and positions before the release of the song, with Lynn being confirmed as Japanese and the main dancer, JooBin as the visual, HaYeon as the all rounder and ShiOn as the main vocalist of the unit.[1] A performance video of "Just Do It" was released on December 31 at 21:00 KST.
