"Strong Girl: Badge War" (Hangul: Strong Girl:배지전쟁), is the first tripleS reality show consisting of the first sixteen members. It aired every Thursday on 1theK's official YouTube channel from December 7 to December 28, 2023.
The concept of the show was voted upon in the reality show gravity, which was held between October 18-20. The first teaser for the show also released on the same day the gravity opened.
The second season, Strong Girl: Badge War Season 2, which featured all 24 members, began airing on May 24, 2024.
Background[]
On October 18, a teaser for the sixteen member reality show was released on the 1theK Originals youtube channel. Three options for the reality's concept were presented: "Girl's Big Match", "CLASS UP" and "Strong Girl: Badge War". Girl's Big Match would have tripleS members compete against other high school girls with 'special abilities' in challenges such as 'makeup master', ie: who can do their makeup perfectly while walking, disco pang pang master, etc. CLASS UP would have all sixteen members enrol in the "tripleS High School" where there are only two classes: S Class, where members get the best quality food and dormitories and C Class, where members would have poorer quality food and dorming. Games would be held to determine who entered which class. The final option, Strong Girl: Badge War was an overnight survival camp where members would compete for badges, the girl with the most being declared the winner and being awarded a grand prize.
On the same day, the eighth gravity was opened for fans to vote for the option they wanted to see. Girl's Big Match came in third place with 4,451 como, CLASS UP in second place with 13,460 como and Strong Girl: Badge War was declared the winner with 22,025 como
Filming began on the week beginning November 13, 2023 at Museom Village.[1]
