2022: S1-S10 reveals & Acid Angel from Asia's debut

On February 18, a Naver article released reporting on the newly established agency, MODHAUS, spearheaded by creative director and CEO, Jaden Jeong, and their upcoming girl group set to debut in the first half of the year, tripleS. The company would be entering the K-Pop market with a new type of model revolving around fan-participation, allowing fans to be involved creatively with the group.[1]

On April 4, tripleS' social medias opened and the first teaser titled, thesis, was released. Twenty days later on April 24, the second teaser, We are S, released followed by the last teaser, signalis.

On May 1, Yoon SeoYeon was revealed as the first member, S1, through an introductory video teaser. She moved into the dormitories, known as the HAUS on May 9, the same day the SIGNAL daily reality series began airing. On May 16, Jeong HyeRin's teaser drop image was released and she was revealed as the second member, S2, the next day on May 17. Her "Welcome to the HAUS" teaser was released on May 19 and she moved into the HAUS on May 23. Lee JiWoo's teaser drop image was released on May 28 and she was revealed as the third member on June 1. Her "Welcome to the HAUS" teaser was released on June 4 and she moved in on June 7.

On June 16, an article released reporting that former Busters' member, Kim ChaeYeon, would be re-debuting in the group.[2] On June 19, the teaser drop image for the fourth member was released. At the same time, SeoYeon, HyeRin and JiWoo went to NYC for a content schedule. A few days later ChaeYeon was revealed as S4 on June 22 and she moved into the HAUS on June 29 after the other members had returned.

On July 11, Kim YooYeon was revealed as the fifth member through an exclusive video teaser. She is the only member to not get a teaser drop image before her official introductory video teaser, which released on July 15. Her "Welcome to the HAUS" teaser was released the next day and she moved into the HAUS on July 18.

Kim SooMin's teaser drop image was released on August 2. She was officially revealed as the sixth member on August 8. Her "Welcome to the HAUS" teaser was released the next day and she moved into the second HAUS on August 11. SooMin is the only member to have her identity completely concealed until she moved into the dorms and introduced herself. Due to her young age, the dorming situation for each HAUS was rearranged so that she'd get two new roommates. Through a decision making process conducted by all members, She moved into the second HAUS with ChaeYeon and HyeRin on August 12.

In SIGNAL #80, which aired on August 19, Kim NaKyoung was teased as the seventh member. Her teaser drop image was released a day later and she was officially revealed as S7 on August 22. Her "Welcome to the HAUS" teaser was released on August 23 and she moved into the second HAUS on August 25.

HyeRin, YooYeon, NaKyoung and YuBin were revealed as members of AAA while SeoYeon, JiWoo, ChaeYeon and SooMin were placed into KRE. It was also revealed that AAA would be debuting first in October.

On October 28, Acid Angel from Asia made their debut with their first mini album, ACCESS. The physical album was slated to release a week later on November 7 but due to the Itaewon Halloween crowd crush incident, it was pushed back to November 9 after the week of mourning had completed. During this time, the SIGNAL series was halted as a sign of respect.

On November 7, Kaede's teaser image drop released and she was officially revealed as the ninth member on November 9. She moved into the third HAUS on November 14. On November 25, the Second Gravity (first Event Gravity) was announced. The first ten members would be debuting as the full group and fans would vote out of eight options the main title track. Seo DaHyun was also teased at the end of SIGNAL #100 which aired on the same day.

On December 3, an original sound track single titled, "I'm In Love With You", by DaHyun was released for the drama, Reborn Rich. Her teaser drop image was released on December 5 and she was officially revealed as the tenth member on December 9.

tripleS held their first pre-concert and made their full group debut on February 13, with their debut mini album, ASSEMBLE, and the title track, "Rising".

On March 17, an Edaily article confirmed that +(KR)ystal Eyes would be debuting the first week of May.[3] Nien's teaser drop image was released on the same day and she was officially revealed as the thirteenth member on March 20.

On March 27th, the Fandom Name Event Gravity[4] was announced to determine tripleS' fandom name. The voting period lasted from April 8th to April 10th, with WAV being determined as the overall winner and official name.

On April 4th, SoHyun's teaser drop image was released and she was officially revealed as S14 ten days later on April 14th. On the 20th, the Two Big WAVes Grand Gravity event was announced. Between April 21 and 30, fans would determine the member lineups of the next two sub-units, EVOLution and LOVElution. S15 and S16 were already placed in each unit beforehand to make up units of eight. JiWoo, ChaeYeon, YooYeon, SooMin, NaKyoung, Kotone and YeonJi were placed into EVOLution, while SeoYeon, HyeRin, YuBin, Kaede, DaHyun, Nien and SoHyun were placed into LOVElution. The second part of the gravity determined which sub-unit would debut first and on May 1, LOVElution was decided upon.

On May 4, +(KR)ystal Eyes officially made their debut with their first mini album, AESTHETIC. The music video for the album's title track, "Cherry Talk" was originally meant to release at 12:00AM KST on May 4, however MODHAUS announced that there would be a delay and the M/V would release at 18:00PM KST at the same time as the digital album release.[5] However, the MV was delayed once again an hour before its new rescheduled intended release, with no set time provided.[6] At around 16:00PM KST, MODHAUS released a statement on tripleS' official discord server addressing the setbacks and issues regarding the "Cherry Talk" M/V release and the lack of broadcast appearances. In the statement, MODHAUS stated KRE would not be able to perform on any broadcast stations except MCOUNTDOWN, due to 'the people and forces that are keeping tripleS in check', implying an external force was blocking tripleS' appearances on public broadcast shows. They also apologized for the M/V delay and cited due to it being very CGI heavy, it was not up to a satisfactory standard and thus they needed to continue working on it until they could release its best version. The "Cherry Talk" M/V was then finally released the following day, May 5, at 21:00PM KST. On May 18 and 25, SeoYeon and JiWoo were confirmed as participants on the Mnet girl group survival, Queendom Puzzle. On May 27, the music video teaser for Touch+ was released.

On June 1, ACID EYES, a collaboration sub-unit consisting of members of Acid Angel from Asia and +(KR)ystal Eyes released a scheduler for their remix/collab single album Cherry Gene. The visualizer for Cherry Gene was released on June 6, accompanied by the lead single Cherry Gene 'Baddest Mix' which was also released on streaming platforms the same day. Originally it was set to have a standard physical release but MODHAUS decided against it due concerns over consumer fatigue. Physical copies were only available through winning certain fan-signs.

On June 21, +(KR)ystal Eyes and SoHyun's individual teasers for the Touch+ M/V were released. The official M/V was released the next day on June 22. KRE broadcast promotions began again on June 23 with their first Touch performance on Music Bank and Touch+ was officially released on streaming services on June 27. On June 26, Xinyu was introduced to the rest of the LOVElution members through SIGNAL #303, though she was blurred to remain hidden. Her teaser drop image was then released June 30 and she was officially revealed as the fifteenth member and the final member of LOVElution on July 2. She moved into the HAUS on July 4.

On July 6, the rest of the Cherry Gene album was released on streaming platforms. The album included two new remixes, Cherry Gene 'Hy-Fluid Mix' and Cherry Gene 'Testarossa Mix' to serve as the album's b-sides. This gravity was to determine the members of the upcoming ballad unit of which DaHyun was already confirmed as a locked in member beforehand. Through a live draw, seven combinations were created for fans to vote on. On November 21, the pre-gravity channel was opened again to take suggestions for the name of the ballad unit. The following day, a dijkstra theory photo was released consisting of the hands of S17, S18, S19 and S20, and the ninth gravity also began. On November 24, Combination D, consisting of JiWoo, ChaeYeon, Kaede and Nien was determined as the winner.
